Abstract

McKee Library is active across a variety of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, and most recently, TikTok. This presentation will discuss why you should be on social media. We will look at the creation of social media content to engage students and faculty using online tools and resources. We will explore what has worked for each platform, and what ideas failed to connect with our audience. Additionally, we will explore the importance of planning content and using a social media organizer to provide a consistent online presence.
