Grace Peña Exhibit

About the Artist

Grace is an animation major and film minor from Keene, Texas. Grace loves nature, animals, and all things inspiring. Many of her illustrations have been inspired by her pets during funny moments. Grace aspires to be an animator. She is learning 3D animation; however, she really enjoys hand-drawn traditional artwork in the animation industry. Grace loves to inspire and bring joy to people through her artwork.

This exhibit traces Grace’s art journey which started at the age of four with My Little Pony traces and coloring. She then progressed to designing and developing her own characters. She made several life-sized costumes inspired by her characters and illustrations.

During high school, Grace wrote a children’s book, which won an award. She is currently working on getting the book published. Some of Grace’s hobbies include bird watching, crocheting, and creating stop-motion puppets based on her characters.

This exhibit was on display on McKee Library's Main Floor during the Winter 2025 semester.
