Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis L.) has often been called "God's Gift to Mankind" due to its well known medicinal properties. However, over collection from the wild combined with habitat loss due to land development has placed the species in danger of extinction. Randy has spent the past two decades developing sustainable production techniques for the plant and is an internationally recognized authority regarding goldenseal.
