Aims & Scope

The aim of Interdisciplinary Journal of Best Practices in Global Development (IDJBPGD) is to disseminate best practices in the field of global community development. The contributors and authors of this journal on contemporary issues form an international community of scholars, educators, researchers, practitioners, and students. Articles featured in this journal focus on the most effective and sustainable practices in creating and fostering thriving communities around the globe. The evidence-based practices and research presented in the Journal of Interdisciplinary Best Practices in Global Development are intended to uphold and explore the philosophy of community empowerment, community resiliency, enterprise, strength-based and faith affirming approaches, and interdisciplinary collaborations based on health science, natural science, social science, management, and emergency in community development. In addition, the journal exists to publish scholarly articles on current contemporary challenges facing the global community.

The mission of Interdisciplinary Journal of Best Practices in Global Development (IDJBPGD) is to share and discuss the leading evidence based practices and contemporary issues surrounding the field of global community development in the areas of social science, natural science, health science, management, and emergency with a consistent philosophy of community empowerment, community resiliency, enterprise, and strength-based and faith affirming approaching.
