Pictured here is a miniature watercolor of Abraham Lincoln. This miniature was commissioned by John W. Fling from William Patterson. Patterson was a portrait artist in the first quarter of the 20th century. He specialized in painting portraits of Lincoln based on photographs. It is mounted on a gold locket in a pearl gray velvet case.
