Whispers of God features the paintings of artist Becky Brooks. Becky Brooks enjoys sharing God’s love and the beauty of His world through art—particularly painting, photography, and graphic design. She also loves spending time with her husband Justin Brooks, who works as the Purchasing Director at Southern Adventist University, and their two young daughters. In 2015, Becky became interested in learning how to paint, so she began following online tutorials. She found that she really loves the tangible nature of brushing paint onto a canvas. While many beautiful images today are created on computers and adjusted with filters and Photoshop, she appreciates the contrast of using real paint, which takes time to dry, sometimes spills, and can’t be fixed quite as easily as clicking Undo.
