Abstract
The Study Abroad Experience facilitates a rich learning environment for students wishing to develop or enhance their chosen language skills. However, this valuable learning environment also provides a venue for students to become more aware of themselves, the world around them, and cultural diversity. Upon returning to their U.S. educational institution, these students have adopted a new perspective towards life that can cause them to have challenges with the re-entry process. This presentation elucidates the means by which our department has sought to facilitate the re-adjustment process in a meaningful and effective way.
