I was the cinematographer (director of photography) on a $500,000 feature film titled Old Fashioned. Old Fashioned is a faith based romantic comedy about two people who fall in love despite having very different ideas about what a proper courtship is. The film was in production for 7 weeks in New Philadelphia, Ohio and the surrounding areas during October and November of 2011. My responsibilities included breakdown of the script into shot lists, choreographing the actors to camera, overseeing all aspects of the photography, working with the locations and art department to dress the set for camera, overseeing the lighting and electrical crew, and expressively using the camera to put the audience inside the story.
