Fine-Tuning: A Comparison of Worldviews for Doing Science
Department
Physics & Engineering
Date of Activity
Summer 7-17-2024
Abstract
Both materialistic and theistic scientists approach the study of nature with the expectation of finding order and repeating patterns, but the theist's expectation is based on her understanding of nature as designed by the Creator. Comparison of worldviews, identification of commonalities and differences. Fine-tuning in nature, and in natural law. Attempts to explain "apparent design" without a Designer.
