Enumeration of All Pythagorean Triples

Abstract

All Pythagorean triples (PTs) are generated using a Cantor diagonal ordering to produce all multiples of all primitive PTs. These are, in turn, generated by the Calkin–Wilf (C-W) enumeration of the rational numbers. The complete algorithm demonstrated, showing a 1-1 and onto relationship with the positive integers.
