The purpose of the study is to identify if there are potential differences in friendship preferences as it relates to one's race or ethnicity. The study specifically focuses upon college students and explore's the role of their percieved campus diversity and engagement within same-race friendships, cross-race friendships, or both. This study will inform future research by revealing fundamental issues surrounding race-relations within college and/or university settings.
