Abstract

Jeffrey, a Southern alum, shared his time as a school chaplain and youth pastor with Hillard Christian School in Tasmania, Australia. He shared his formative experiences that led to his decision to work in ministry. He described the unique culture in Tasmania and how his experience shaped his relationship with God and other people.

Tasmania is an island state of Australia, located south of the mainland. Most people in Tasmania are of English descent, and the island has a large population of Anglicans. Tasmania is known for its rich history, wildlife, and the Tasmanian Devil.
