Living Memoirs is a growing online archive which currently preserves the stories shared by current and former students at Southern Adventist University who served as student missionaries.

Participation in this project is completely voluntary with no incentives other than sharing one’s story. Full consent was given for all of the recorded information in this collection and participants were aware of their right to refuse questions at any time. Student Missionaries shared stories from their childhood, personal life, academic life, and experiences as missionaries where they served. They shared what impact their time as a missionary had on their lives.

Oral histories have been edited for privacy and accuracy purposes. Names may be removed for privacy reasons. Otherwise, interviews and scripts were kept as true to the original format as possible. Views expressed do not necessarily represent those of McKee Library or Southern Adventist University.
