This study will survey the potential correlation between Adverse Childhood Experiences and self-concept in college students. This study will aid in the addition of literature and further research regarding what impacts Adverse Childhood Experiences have on individuals later in life. With studies such as this one, more awareness can be added to this issue, and an increased amount of information can back mental health practices when dealing with individuals with a background of Adverse Childhood Experiences. This study is important because it will contribute to the existing research and knowledge regarding the effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences throughout life.
