Abstract
Blanca, a Southern alumna, served as a student missionary in Seoul, Korea, where she faced unexpected challenges and opportunities. Through her experiences teaching and engaging with the community, she gained valuable personal and spiritual growth. Her time abroad shaped her perspective and influenced her path, leaving a lasting impact on her life and career.
Seoul, the capital of South Korea, is a major cultural, economic, and political center located on the Han River. It has been the country’s capital since 1394 and has rapidly urbanized, becoming a global leader in technology and innovation. The city blends modern skyscrapers with historic palaces, temples, and traditional markets. Seoul is known for its vibrant culture, including K-pop, fashion, and street food, as well as its strong emphasis on education and innovation.
