Description

Our presentation will be about self-care in nursing. The areas of self-care that we will be covered include nutrition, exercise, sleep, and mental health. We hope to discover through our research the effects that age, experience, and shift work can have on one’s health. We will analyze several scholarly articles to summarize positive lifestyle techniques that nurses can utilize to improve their health. The topics will include different age groups, a varied number of years of experience, both night and day shifts, and the various health outcomes for those populations. We will conclude by reviewing and summarizing the findings of our research articles with the goal of producing insightful outcomes to aid nurses of all ages, experiences, and shifts with ways to optimize their health. The aim of our research is to find out the gaps in self-care in nursing.
