Description

The Scholl reaction is a coupling reaction between two arene compounds. The goal of this research is to find the Scholl reaction parameters of the synthesis of extended dibenzophospholes. These extended dibenzophospholes can be used as emitters and organic light-emitting compounds. Different dibenzophospholes will emit different colored light at different strengths depending on the aromaticity and conjugation of the compound.
