Abstract (Description of Research)
Benzol[b]phospholes are known for having interesting optoelectronic properties. They can be used in organic synthesis, medicinal chemistry, and material industries. Larger conjugated systems can be created by adding different groups to the benzo[b]phosphole and may impact the characteristics of the molecule. Anthraquinones have unique electronic and redox properties. This research aims to functionalize benzo[b]phospholes with anthraquinones.
