Abstract (Description of Research)

African American minorities have the highest risk for diabetes. The high risk brings a question which seeks to answer why it's specifically high for these minorities. This study will be looking at different variables including low socio-economic status, education, and current diet and perceptions of health to understand what correlations can be found between them and the increased risk for diabetes.
