Description

The goal of our research is to synthesize dibenzophospholes that have thiophenes attached. Many dibenzophospholes and their derivatives have emissive properties. Due to their semiconductor properties and the fact that they are emissive, they can be used as emitters in OLEDs (Organic Light-Emitting Diodes). Thiophenes are known for their conducting properties, and their chemistry is well known. Thus, the incorporation of thiophene substituted dibenzophospholes into OLED displays could be impactful.
