Description

This research proposal aims to explore the relationship between social media usage and mental health among college students. Given the increasing prevalence of social media, this study seeks to identify how platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter impact students' psychological well-being, focusing on anxiety, depression, and self-esteem levels. By employing a mixed-methods approach, including surveys and interviews, the research will analyze patterns of social media interaction and their correlation with mental health indicators. Findings will contribute to understanding the potential risks and benefits of social media on young adults' mental health, offering insights for educators, psychologists, and policy makers.
